The tools on ottercraft.dev are provided free of charge, as they are and as available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

What you may do

You may use the tools for any lawful personal or commercial purpose. You may not try to disrupt the service, use the OtterDrop signalling server for anything other than connecting devices through the OtterDrop app, or undermine the privacy protections the tools give other users.

Your responsibility

All processing happens on your device, so you are responsible for the files and data you use with the tools and for keeping your own backups. Outputs (a merged PDF, a transferred file) are provided for convenience and should be checked before you rely on them for anything that matters. When sharing files with OtterDrop, you are responsible for making sure you are sharing with the devices you intend to.

Advertising

Pages may show third-party ads to cover hosting costs. Advertisers are not endorsed by ottercraft.dev, and anything you do with an advertiser is between you and them. The Privacy Policy explains how advertising and consent work.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author of ottercraft.dev is not liable for any loss or damage, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, arising from the use of, or inability to use, the tools.

Changes and availability

Tools may be changed, paused or withdrawn at any time. These terms may be updated; the version published here is the one that applies. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
